Questions, second quire

Questions from other passports, British ones included

Fingerprints, the TIE card, visas and the return authorisation: the questions people from outside the EU bring to Toledo, answered one by one.

  1. Huellas TIE Toledo: where are fingerprints taken?

The Delegación del Gobierno lists the toma de huellas among the police procedures of its office at Ronda de Buenavista 57, by cita previa, and policia.es lists TIE issue at the Comisaría de Talavera de la Reina as well. Your confirmation names the office.

  2. Extranjería Toledo: is there a phone number?

Not for Ronda de Buenavista 57: policia.es leaves the fields empty, and the Delegación lists only a fax. The Comisaría de Talavera de la Reina gives 925 721 757 for its foreigners’ unit.

  3. I am British and arrived this year. Is the Withdrawal Agreement card for me?

No. It covers people who lived in Spain by the end of 2020. You need a visa or an authorisation first, then a TIE.

  4. My husband is French; my passport is Brazilian. What do I apply for?

Form EX-19: the card for a non-EU husband, wife or relative of a European. His green certificate should come first.

  5. My TIE renewal is in progress and I must fly home. What do I need?

Ask for an autorización de regreso (permission to return) before the flight. policia.es lists it at Ronda de Buenavista 57.

  6. Who decides on a residence or work authorisation in Toledo?

The Oficina de Extranjería en Toledo, Sede 1, at Ronda de Buenavista 57. You apply online through MERCURIO, or in person with a cita previa in your own name.
