Condiciones del servicio: in plain English, the terms of the service. They apply to everyone who reads nietoledo.com or writes to it.

Quiénes somos · Who we are

NIE Toledo works privately and on its own account. We do not act for the police, for the Toledo Oficina de Extranjería, for the Delegación del Gobierno or for any ayuntamiento. Our work is to explain in plain English the procedures of foreigners in Toledo and its province, from the NIE to the padrón, and to help people prepare them.

The chapters describe procedures for many readers at once. Each was checked against the official pages it quotes when it was written; since then a form, a fee or the habit of an office may have changed, and no general text can judge a particular case. Recheck the official source before an important step, or ask us. The chapters are not legal or tax advice.

Consultas · Letters to us

Writing to us, by form or by email, is asking a question. No contract follows from it, for either side. If you want our help after that, we first send you, in writing, the scope of the work and its cost, and the work begins only once you say yes. If a partner firm is to be the one to help, you learn its name before deciding.

Tasas y resoluciones · Official fees and decisions

Tasas, the official fees such as the 790-012, are paid to the State and are never part of our price. Resoluciones, the decisions, belong to the administration alone: it grants or refuses each number, certificate, card and permit. We promise no outcome, no appointment and no deadline.

Límites · Limits

We cannot answer for the decisions of public offices, for changes to the rules after a chapter was published, or for the supply of appointments on the booking website.
